CFS-L HAS MOVED
to LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG

 

The Maelstrom Listserv where CFS-L is based will soon be closing after 15 years of service. CFS-L and many other Maelstrom lists have moved to a new Listserv service that has been created by several Maelstrom listowners. The migration to the new service took place on Wednesday, January 11, 2006. Here are the details:

Those who participate in the group via the newsgroup alt.med.cfs should notice no difference in their service -- the usual ways of reading from and posting to the group will remain the same.

All addresses used to access CFS-L that used to end with @maelstrom.stjohns.edu now end instead with @listserv.icors.org. The beginning part of the addresses will remain the same.

Specifically:

To post to the group, send to CFS-L@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG

To send a command to the Listserv, send to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG

To write privately to the moderators, send to CFS-L-REQUEST@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG

If you receive the group by email and if your mail filters are set to note the ADDRESS of incoming list postings, you need to change your mail filter settings to reflect the new address. However, if your mail filters are triggered by the Subject: line, then you don't need to make any change.

Web access to the group will be at the address:

http://listserv.icors.org/archives/CFS-L.html

After the transition, messages sent to the old list address will be forwarded to the new address for a time.
